Welcome to Christ Church
We are a Church of England congregation in the heart of Wesham, Lancashire, on a mission to grow together—people of all ages and stages of life—to become more like Jesus, and to faithfully serve our town while sharing the good news of His love.
Sundays
Come and join us! We meet every Sunday at 9:30am to worship together as a church family. Our gatherings always include sung worship, Bible reading, and prayer. Most weeks, we also share in communion and children head off to their own groups. On the second Sunday of each month, we hold an all-age service where everyone worships together across generations.

Our Church School
We’re so grateful for our close partnership with Medlar with Wesham School and the many opportunities we have to work together. To stay up to date with their latest news, admissions information, and upcoming events, please visit their website.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is a top priority for us, and we are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
